The year of 1969 was tumultuous, radical and momentous. From the start of the gay rights movement at the Stonewall riots, to the legendary performances at Woodstock, and the out of this world landing on the moon.
Travel back in time with us as we sing songs both from and inspired by an era we will never forget. We are a diverse Rainbow community that has the luxury to be ourselves and sing with pride thanks to the brave souls that paved the way for us.
GALS is a community choir that was formed in 1992 and is Auckland’s first gay and lesbian choir. We are a diverse and inclusive group and we are whanau.
