Good looking Māori lad from local family. Originally, he worked on the farm but he’s accompanied Louisa to Paris and it has changed his life – they’ll never keep him down on the farm again. Finds being back in the hood boring. He’s ambitious, vain, possibly bi-sexual, certainly an opportunist. Louisa is too trusting of him – but she’s liked having him around because she looks good on his arm.
