A graduate of Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, Mark Wright has worked extensively in professional theatre throughout New Zealand. Highlights include Bouncers, The Threepenny Opera, Foreskins Lament, Aunt Daisy, Judy, Othello, Suspect, The Rocky Horror Show, A Midsummer Nights Dream, A Way of Life and The Underwater Melon Man. Mark’s television career spans more than 30 different series. His impersonations of New Zealand politicians and personalities (the likes of Ruth Richardson, Richard Long and Mike Moore) on Issues and More Issues with McPhail and Gadsby, won him two New Zealand film and television awards. Mark’s recent stage credits include: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (The Court Theatre); Eight Gigabytes of Hardcore Pornography (Silo Theatre); Ropable (Centrepoint Theatre); The Dinner (Circa Theatre) and The Audience (Auckland Theatre Company).
