Born in Hong Kong and raised in Auckland, Kat Tsz Hung has worked on various theatre works including Mooncake and a Kumara, Man in a Suitcase with The Court Theatre which travelled to Beijing and Auckland Theatre Company’s The Wife who spoke Japanese In her Sleep and The Good Soul of Szechuan.
A graduate of Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School, Kat trained in devising theatre and did an internship with New Earth Theatre in the UK.
Screen credits include Roseanne Liang’s award-winning short film Take 3 and feature film My Wedding and Other Secrets. She won Best Actress festival award for the short film Wait. Her recent works include The Pact web series, The Gulf and BBC/NZ co-production Mystic.
