Karen Fistonich

Karen has been on the ATC Board since 2011, joining when the board added extra resources in readiness for the Waterfront Theatre project. She is also a trustee of the Waterfront Theatre Trust and a director of Waterfront Theatre Ltd.

Karen is a director of New Zealand Food Innovation Auckland Ltd, known as the FOODBOWL. At the FOODBOWL companies can produce commercial runs of new products for trial marketing and hence capitalise on domestic and export opportunities.

Karen has had previous experience as a director of Villa Maria Estate Ltd and served on the board for over 28 years. Karen was the Board chairperson from 2006 to 2019. Karen also served on the Board of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, New Zealand’s international business development agency for 2 terms from 2011 to 2017.

Karen is a member of Te Hono Movement which brings together NZ Primary Sector Industry leaders who are prepared to collaborate and share expertise for sustainable growth in their sector. Karen is also a member of the New Zealand Global Women network, which encourages women into senior and leadership roles.
